Dustin Hines loves the mountains. He is not choosey, and loves everything from boulders to huge frozen peaks. Dustin has been climbing since 1990, and draws on these years of experiences to instruct people on how to safely move through mountain terrain. He is a graduate of the North Face Mountain Leadership course and winner of the Alpine Club of Canada’s Eric Brooks Leadership Award for his technical and leadership skills. Dustin has climbed all over the world and has numerous first ascents in both the Canada and the US, and is on a continual journey to both learn and teach mountaincraft. The greatest joy for Dustin is to take beginners to the mountains and see the huge smiles on their faces!

Rochelle Hines grew up in the shadow of the Canadian Rockies, and developed an early love of the mountains through skiing. This love continued to grow as her and Dustin explored the mountains in their backyard with hiking, and climbing rock and ice around Alberta. After moving to Vancouver, Rochelle continued to hone her mountain skills in the Canadian Coast mountain range, developing a love for granite and crack climbing on Squamish’s bluffs. Rochelle has climbed numerous spots in North America and Europe.
